KIDS! Summer Passport Program

altThe Warrenville Historical Museum, with the help of the Warrenville Public Library, participates in the KDRMA Passport Program.  The purpose of the program is to spark an interest in families to visit museums in the Kane and DuPage area.  Over fifty museums are featured in the passport booklet which contains all the museums’ addresses and hours.  They can be picked up from June 1st until they run out at the desk in the children’s department of the library, when they sign up for the Summer Reading Program, or at the museum.

Students have been traveling through history via this program for over 10 years.  They are asked to fill out a discovery sheet at each of their stops and their passports will be stamped.  The program wil run through Labor Day.  At the end of the summer a Celebration Party is held and students get prizes for their participation in the program.  Start your journey through time at the Warrenville Historical Museum & Art Gallery located in the Albright Building on Second Street, open Wedenesdays and Sundays during June, July and August from 1-4pm.  Closed Father's Day and July 4th.
