“2nd Thursday  fine weather for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick [in margin]  Leora & Jane Gary came from Iowa to Wheaton.

“3rd Friday  fine winter weather  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed 9 ½ tiard & sick [in margin] Leora Jane Gary came to _____________.

“4th Saturday  rather fine cloudy weather  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed sick  Mrs Stone came in the evening.

“5th Sunday  rather a fine cloudy day  I did my choars was at home all day a choaring round went to the office in evening came back wrote some & went to bed about 9 about sick with a cold  Mrs Stone was here in the morning Mr Kenyon at about 12 ½ to 1.

“6th Monday  rather fine weather for winter  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.

“7th Tuesday  fine rainey weather  I did my choars was at the office all day came home at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 ½ sick.
