8th Wednesday  fine for the season roads a drying up  I did my choars was at the office & house all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.

9th Thursday  A fine day for the season  I did my choars was at the office a choaring round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick. Frank Wellman came from Aurora tonight in the stage from Naperville.

10th Friday  rather a fine day for the season  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick & tiard out.

11th Saturday  A fine warm pleasant day  I did my choars was at the office all day choaring round closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 about sick.

12th Sunday  A fine pleasant day but some cloudy towards night & looked like a storme  I did my choars was round the house a choaring all day went to Barruses about 5 & back Barrus was here to supper about 4  I went to bed about 9 nearly sick  Frank was here all day  I looked over with Barrus some today etc.

13th Monday  rather fine weather but verry muddy  I did my choars was at the office a choaring round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 sick etc.

14th Tuesday  cloudy damp muddy weather  I did my choars was round the office all day a choaring & closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worne out  Mrs Galusha died today about 3 oclock PM just one year from the time she went to Chicago to ________ cured for a cancer.”
