Hiram E. Leonard Diary, May 2 - 8, 1872

2nd Thursday  fine cool dry weather  I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 10 nearly sick with a cold.

3rd Friday  fine cool dry weather for May  I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 and went to bed about 10 nearly sick with a cold.

4th Saturday  cool cloudy for the season  I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 10 tiard & nearly sick with a cold.

5th Sunday  A fine hot dry day & verry pleasant  I did my choars choared round the house some & started with T Jones horse & buggy to go to John Strickland  Caroline & Wallace went  We got home at about 5 we went to bed about 9 nearly sick.

6th Monday  rather fine weather but dry  I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 10 nearly sick  Mrs Hubbard Wilcox here.

7th Tuesday  rather fine weather for May but cool & dry  I did my choars choared round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.
