6th Thursday  A fine pleasant day & more mild  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold  Casper Watsons wife and a sone born tonight weighing 9 ½# the first child.

7th Friday  fine weather for winter  I did my choars choared round the house some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold.

8th Saturday  rather a fine day but a cold wind  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick  Emma Stone came here in the stage from Naperville.

9th Sunday  A fine pleasant day with a cool air  I did my choars choared round some closed and went to bed about 9 nearly sick  Mrs Nancy Warren was buried today, funeral at one oclock at the Baptist Church  Elder Potter officiated  the church was crowded full John Billings came here this afternoon Emma Stone went back to Naperville rod with Elder Adams about 4 P M.
