“8th Thursday  cool wet cloudy weather  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism  Jonathan Pollard went to Chicago.

“9th Friday  cloudy rainey weather & cool  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold & rheumatism  J Pollard fixed _________.

“10th Saturday  A cool cloudy forenoon & more pleasant in afternoon I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 ½ sick with a cold & the rheumatism all over me  Jonathan Pollard finished the fence round the south lot called the Brown lot.

“11th Sunday  Some cloudy with a cool air but a fine day  I did my choars choared round some up to the other place wrote some & took a nap was about sick all day with the rheumatism & a cold went to bed 9 was about sick day & night with a cold & rheumatism all over me.

“12th Monday  rather cool backward weather for the season  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism.

“13th Tuesday  rather fine weather but backward for the season  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold.

“14th Wednesday  rather cold backward weather for the season  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with the rheumatism.”
