Hiram E. Leonard Diary, July 10 - 16, 1873

10th Thursday  fine cool hay weather  I did my choars choared round the office some closed up at about 8 ½ & went to bed about 10 tiard & nearly sick  T W Watson finished cutting my hay today at night  Butler came out.

11th Friday fine hay weather  I did my choars choared round the office some closed up about 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick & tiered out.

12th Saturday  A fine hay day  I did my choars choared round the office some closed up about 8 & went to bed about 10 nearly sick & tiered out  T W Watson stacked 4 loads of hay for me at the store & drew some for himself  Wm Butler went home after supper tonight.

13th Sunday  A cloudy morning with showers around & a light sprinkle here between 5 & six and a light shower between 8 & 9 quite showers around.

14th Monday  fine weather but some cloud  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ or 10 nearly sick & tiered out.

15th Tuesday  some cloudy & showerey & verry hot  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 & went to bed about 10 tiard & about sick.

16th Wednesday  rather a fine hot day  I did my choars choared round the office some closed up about 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ or 10 nearly sick etc  Caroline & Emma Stone went to Chicago & stayed over night  Frank Willson came here to work for Manning.”
