“22nd Thursday  A stormey day rained some & snowed some  I did my choars choared was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold [in margin] Meetings

“23rd Friday  A cool day with some snow squalls  I did my choars choared the office some all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold [in margin] Meetings

“24th Saturday  A cool winter day & night  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 all sick with colds

“25th Sunday  A fine pleasant with a few clouds & the ground covered with snow  poor sleighing  I did my choars was at the house the most of the day writing some etc  Emma Barrus came down from Wesly Garys  She had been to work

“26th Monday  fine winter weather  I did my choars choared round the office some closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold

“27th Tuesday  fine winter weather  I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a  cold

“28th Wednesday  rather winterey weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at about 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick cold”
