“7th Wednesday  rather a fine hot day  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism  Jont Pollard & Willa went to Frenches this afternoon & got his bull & put in my paster.

“8th Thursday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.

“9th Friday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

“10th Saturday  fine weather but some cloudy  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 about sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

“11th Sunday  A fine growing day but some cloudy  I did my choars was at the house all day and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

“12th Monday  A fine pleasant day  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & cold  J. M. Warren got home from his California Nevada Salt Lake & _________ trip  Jonathan Pollards cow took the bull today   Watson a cutting my grass.

“13th Tuesday  pretty fine weather some cloudy  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick etc.”
