Join us for our Spring Tea Fundraiser! This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 18th at noon at the Warrenville VFW Post 8081. We are excited to welcome a new presenter Betsey Means of WomanLore who will present Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA in 1912. Juliette was a wealthy socialite who found her calling after meeting the founder of the Boy Scouts, Sir Robert Baden-Powell; she went on to grow the Girl Scout Movement and ensure that it would live up to the promise of being a community that welcomes all girls to have fun and reach their full potential.
Always a wonderful time, this event helps to fund our annual scholarship and Historical Society programming. Table sponsors decorate with creative themes, always a hit with guests! Space is limited and seats are filled based on availability. Contact Sara at info@warrenvillehistorical.org or (630) 393-4215 if you would like to host a table or to purchase a ticket at $25.00 a piece. The Tea is supported by a Warrenville Hotel Tax Fund Grant.
