April 1st Wednesday  fine cold dry weather for April it freezes every night hard  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed about 10 tiard & nearly sick with a cold.

2nd Thursday  fine cold dry weather roads pretty good  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick cold.

3rd Friday  fine cold dry weather & freezes for April  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 9 ½ sick with a cold.

4th Saturday  fine cool weather & freeze in the shade all day  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 10 nearly sick with a cold roads pretty good  Edward Rogers drew a load of lumber from Wheaton 996 feet 15 dols ________ 14.93 A school meeting & they realected Albert T Jones School director  Caroline went to meeting at Sherwin  William McNelly got married today to an Norwegian widow.

5th Sunday  A cold snowey morning  2 or 3 inches of snow fell and a snowing all the forenoon and some in the afternoon winter weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick.

6th Monday  A fine cold day roads bad  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 10 nearly sick with a cold  Emma Prosburg.

7th Tuesday  A cold pleasant day & muddy  I did my choars was round all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold Town Meeting today at Junction Turner  Esbon Manville elected supervisor  A T Jones Assessor  D A Brown road commissioner  Fitsh Bently died today at Aurora  Mrs Stone came here from Oak Park.”
