“2nd Wednesday  fine hot dry weather  some cloudy  I did my choars choared round the office closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 nearly sick [in margin] Emma Anesworth cooked for me today & the rest of the week.

“3rd Thursday  fine hot dry weather some clouds  I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.

“4th Friday  A fine hot cloudy morning & began to rain about 10 we had a fine rain which the ground needed  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 tiard & sick.

“5th Saturday  A fine day & pretty warm  I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 nearly sick.

“6th Sunday  A fine pleasant hot day  I did my choars choared round the office some went to bed about 9 nearly sick & tiered out  A quarterly meeting here today & Griffeth here today.

“7th Monday  fine hot weather & dry  I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 tierd & nearly sick.

“8th Tuesday  fine hot dry weather  I did my choars choared round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed about 9 tiard & nearly sick.”
