16th Thursday  cleared off cold & winterey  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold.

17th Friday  A cold winter day  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a  cold.

18th Saturday  cold winter weather & a hard winter  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick  Frederick Stolp died today, Frederick Stolp died today in his 92 year.

19th Sunday  cold winter weather it snowed quite fast from the South & was cold winter day  I did my choars choared round some  Here & up to the farm  came back & went to bed about 9 tiard & sick.

20th Monday  rather a fine day  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 & went to bed about 9 tiard & nearly sick with a cold.

21st Tuesday  rather fine weather for winter  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 9 nearly sick  Frederick Stolp was buried at Aurora today  Col J M Warren got home from New York and the East  Mrs Nancy Warren was taken sick today or last night.

22nd Wednesday  A verry snowey day from the north east a pretty stormey day & night about one foot of snow fell a pretty hard storm  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick.”
