“9th Thursday  cold winter weather  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism.

“10th Friday  A cold winter day  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ sick with a cold.

“11th Saturday  A little more mild  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold.

“12th Sunday  A warm cloudy day & thawed conciderable  I did my choars choared some cloased up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½.

“13th Monday  pretty cold winter weather  I did my choars choared round the store some closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 tiard & nearly sick with a cold.

“14th Tuesday  cold winter weather  I did my choars choared round some cloased up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold etc.

“15th Wednesday  snowed some & rained some tonight & raised the river verry high & cleared off tomorrow cold  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a  cold.”
