5th Thursday  fine hot growing weather  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 10 tiard & about sick with a cold.

6th Friday  A hot growing day  I did my choars choared round some closed up about 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ nearly sick with a cold & rheumatism  Red cow calved tonight  I washed sheep of Wallas today  H Beardsley washed them.

7th Saturday  A fine hot day & some cloudy  I did my choars choared round some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 10 nearly sick with a cold & rheumatism.

8th Sunday   A fine day & with a cool breeze & some cloudy  I did my choars choared some up to farm hoing garden came back choared round some & wrote some and etc went to bed about 9 tiard & nearly sick with a cold and the rheumatism.

9th Monday  fine hot growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 ½ tiard & nearly sick with rheumatism & cold  Mrs Bliss was ________ deposition before Hudson today Butler was out with a lawyer.

10th Tuesday  fine hot growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 ½ nearly sick etc.

11th Wednesday  fine growing weather  I did my choars choared round the office some closed up at 8 and went to bed about 10 nearly sick with a cold & rheumatism  Caroline & Mary Tart went to Naperville with Herb Beardsly & came back about 9-3/4 with French & children  Elder Duncen McGregor graduated at Naperville Collage today.”
