“3rd Wednesday fine weather but cool I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism.
“4th Thursday fine November weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 as usual The railroad men were here sticking the grading stakes on the railroad.
“5th Friday fine cool weather for Nov I did my choars was at the office all day cloased up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism and a cold Dr Hatch came out today.
“6th Saturday A fine day for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold and the rheumatism Watson finished picking my share of the corn.
“7th Sunday fine pleasant comfitable day I did my choars eat breckfust & went with S French to York Center than to Bob Reads & stoped an hour or more then went to Fullersburg then came home did my choars wrote some & went to bed at about 8½ nearly sick & tiard I went to Rob Reads & Brush Hill & round home.
“8th Monday fine weather for Nov I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold Devenport & Eddy the Railroad men came & stayed all night to Perrys Sarah Paver came to her Mothers Mrs Wards tonight.
“9th Tuesday fine cool weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism Devenport & Eddy went back to the ________ gravel route this morning by way of Fred Mathers A Waterman was arrested before now for cheating government.”
