“8th Wednesday fine winter weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold Edward Galusha & Miss Scofield were married at Wheaton today & went on the cars Oren Finch & Miss Vroman married.
“9th Thursday fine weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism.
“10th Friday fine weather for the season I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly tired out with a cold I put Herricks buck with Williams sheep.
“11th Saturday fine day for Dec I did my choars was at the office all closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism.
“12th Sunday fine cool day thawed some I did my choars was at home all day except going to the railroad I went to bed about 9 Samuel McKellips died today at 3 PM at Morris at Elezer Stones.
“13th Monday fine weather for winter I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a bad cold E Stone brought Samuel McKellips corps up from Morris today got here at about 7 ½ PM.
“14th Tuesday fine winter weather with a cool air I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 naerly worn out with the rheumatism Samuel McKellips funeral today at 1 oclock PM at the Methodist Church sermon preached by Elder Chena Henry Wiman came to Frenches to stay the winter.”
