“19th Wednesday  cloudy bad weather but not cold  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 afflicted with the rheumatism etc.

“20th Thursday  A cool cloudy day & roads rough  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism & cold.

“21st Friday  cold cloudy weather thawed some  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism & a cold.

“22nd Saturday  A cloudy foggy misty damp day & muddy  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

“23rd Sunday  A cool cloudy morning with the ground frozen  a cloudy day & thawed a little grew cold in afternoon  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up for bed about 9 had the rheumatism rather bad.

“24th Monday  rather a mild day & some cloudy  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly used up with the rheumatism.

“25th Tuesday  cool & some cloudy weather roads rough  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly worne out with the rheumatism.”
