16th Wednesday  pretty fine weather for February  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 troubled with the rheumatism.

17th Thursday  fine weather for winter roads a little smooth  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at about 9 as usual.

18th Friday  verry good weather for the season  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed about 9 afflicted with the rheumatism  Preaching at the Methodist Church.

19th Saturday   verry fine weather for this month  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick.

20th Sunday  a fine morning but cloudy day hailed a little  I did my choars was at the house all day & went to bed about 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism  Jack McGuire came to Connells to see Ellen Connell today.

21st Monday  fine weather for the season hard wagoning  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 9 as usual  Protracted Meeting.

22nd Tuesday  mild winter weather bad roads  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism.”
