The Warrenville Bank Building, is an icon of Warrenville’s uptown business district and was built as the first bank in Warrenville in 1927. The Old English style bank opened as the Warrenville State Bank, and the building also contained other stores, a lodge hall and offices. Robert H. Salisbury designed the building to be inviting and welcoming. Alfred Hoy served as the first bank president. This ornament is made possible by the Jansen and Rogers families, descendants of Alfred Hoy.
