30th Wednesday  fine hot showerey growing weather  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

July 1st Thursday  A hot showerey day roads muddy  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold  See the new mail carrior came along this morning about 8 and took the male to Winfield  Mrs. Dasenbrook was married today to a Mr Houser of Naperville.

2nd Friday  hot rainey growing weather  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 ½ & went to bed at 9 about used up with the rheumatism.

3rd Saturday  A rainey muddy growing day  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 ½ and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism etc.

4th Sunday  A hot cloudy muddy day with showers  I did my choars was at the office all day or house choared some at farm & home went to bed about 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold.

5th Monday  rather a cloudy day with some hail a bad day for the fourth  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism & a cold  they held the fourth at Naperville at the Union garden some went from here a ______ time my folks stayed at home all day.

6th Tuesday   rather a cloudy damp day  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.”
