“25th Wednesday fine weather & getting warme I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly tiered out & lame etc old Mrs Hollister Carpenters son in law’s mother was buried today.
“26th Thursday fine hot weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 tiard & nearly sick with a cold & the rheumatism Camp meeting commenced in the woods towards Naperville.
“27th Friday fine hot weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly tiered out with the rheumatism & hot weather.
“28th Saturday fine hot weather with showers a nights I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 nearly tiered out & lame with the rheumatism Wife went to Naperville.
“29th Sunday A misty damp morning a cloudy hot forenoon & hot afternoon I did my choars was round home all day & went to bed at 9 nearly sick & lame with the rheumatism Camp Meeting in the woods towards Naperville.
“30th Monday pretty fine growing weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism etc.
“31st Tuesday fine weather I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 about used up with the rheumatism Garys Church trial commenced today at Wheaton respecting a girle affair.”
