September 1st Wednesday  pretty hot fine weather  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.

2nd Thursday  A pretty fine day with a pretty heavey shower in afternoon  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 troubled with the rheumatism  Caroline & Allace started for Iowa this morning in the stage  The Reunion of the 105th Regt took place at Turner Junction today.

3rd Friday  A pretty fine day  I did my choars was round the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick being afflicted with the rheumatism  Nelsters wife Selenburgers daughter had a son born this morning at Mrs Lehmans her grandmother  The Rev Cone came to Mrs Jones tonight with his trunks & stayed all night  Elbert Garys Church.

4th Saturday  rather a fine day  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly used up with the rheumatism  Mrs Elen Jones went to Chicago this morning with the Rev. Cone started in the stage.

5th Sunday  rather a fine day but quite cloudy in the forenoon more pleasant in the afternoon  I did my choars went up to the place was round home the rest of the day went to bed about 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism  Mrs Elen Jones was married to a Rev Cone in Chicago today in the Episkapol Church.

6th Monday  fine weather with some showers  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 oclock tiard & nearly worne out with the rheumatism.

7th Tuesday  cloudy damp muddy weather  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick & worn out with the rheumatism.”
