25th Thursday  fine growing weather & dry  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism  George & the folks worked at the house.

26th Friday  fine growing weather & dry  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed nearly sick with the rheumatism  Caroline washed S Rogers helped.”

27th Saturday  fine growing weather but dry  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 and went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism  Broak the last gooses eggs & they were rotten.

28th Sunday  fine pleasant day with a cool air & dry  I did my choars was round home the most of the day went to the farm & back went to bed about 9 nearly sick.

29th Monday  fine weather for the season but rather dry  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at 9 afflicted with the rheumatism etc.

30th Tuesday  fine weather for the season  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed about 9 nearly sick with the rheumatism.

31 Wednesday  fine growing weather  I did my choars was at the office all day closed up at 8 & went to bed at about 9 nearly sick & tiered out.”
